The new PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation), namely the European Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste (EU Regulation 2025/40), represents a significant step forward for the food packaging sector, introducing increasingly stringent requirements regarding sustainability, safety, and recyclability.
